HERE ARE 8 INDICATORS OF ADULT ADHD THAT ARE COMMONLY OBSERVEDI was initially diagnosed with ADHD when I was 11 years old. Twenty years later, that diagnosis was reaffirmed, and suddenly, everything in my life started to make sense, including the feeling of being somehow different from everyone else. When I was first diagnosed as a child, there wasn’t as much awareness about ADHD as there is today.I don’t remember receiving much information about how ADHD would affect my life outside of school; the focus was mainly on managing the “problem” (my ADHD) to benefit teachers and others who dealt with me daily.
